Heartfelt Desire..!!

He, dreaming about her…while passing through the farms..

Found a tiny yellow rose in the leaf’s arms..

He plucked the rose…to present it to her

To make her understand, he is in need of a friend like her

With all the hope that she would accept it,

He headed towards the rock, where she always used to sit.

He found her there and sat by her side

In a fix whether to give the rose or to hide

For minutes he gave nothing more than a smile.

When she got up saying, he is waiting for her at a mile

The yellow rose fell from his hand in a moment

And was crushed by the pressure of disappointment

She passed by his way to meet him. Who’s he?

Looking at the rose lying down there... he fell on his knees..

Well there was a reason behind his disappointment..

Coz it was not only friendship that the tiny yellow rose meant

Again he stands for her in the way..

Near the rock where the crushed yellow rose lay..

He was waiting for her in anxiety, with his eyes close..

Holding a rose in his hand…and this time…A RED ROSE!!

Then time passed quickly, me being glee.

This is the time, due to which I now regret,

Coz, the sun in my heart, started to set...

You are gone...gone and lost in the dark

You are off, without leaving behind your sign or mark

Now the days for me are like years you see...

As you know... ’I started missing your company’

Now this is the time…I keep consoling my poor soul...

Coz I feel, in the play of life I am left with a blank role

The only role being…searching for you here and there

Coz you never knew how much for U... I do care

In my face you’d find pain and agony
